Product Liability
What it covers.
For manufacturers, products is often the largest liability exposure and the one standard markets price least accurately. It responds to injury or damage caused by your products once they are in a customer’s hands.
We rate products on what you actually make and where it goes, separately from your premises. That separation is usually where the price improves.

- Defense costs, including for claims without merit
- Distributors and resellers added as additional insureds
What we check
- How your products are classified and rated
- Export sales and international territory
- Exclusions for aircraft products or weapons
- Product recall, which is usually excluded
